How long we retain your contact form data

We do not use this information for marketing, and we delete contact form submissions periodically as part of routine site maintenance.

Platform & Storefront Integration Data (Steam & Epic Games Store)

When you play Deadly Match, the game interacts with the official online subsystems of your chosen distribution platform (Valve Steam or the Epic Games Store). To comply with platform requirements, we outline our data practices below:

1. How Data is Captured

Epic Games Store Build: The game automatically captures a unique, anonymous alphanumeric token called a Product User ID (PUID) and Account ID provided natively by Epic Games Services when launched via the Epic Games Launcher.

Steam Build: The game automatically captures your unique, anonymous 64-bit Steam ID (SteamID64) provided natively by the Steamworks API when launched via the Steam Client.

Note: The game does not capture, request, or have access to any personal data, such as your real name, email address, physical address, or financial payment methods.

2. How Data is Used

We use these anonymous platform identifiers strictly to verify your legitimate ownership of the game, initialize your local gameplay sessions, and track your in-game progress.

This data is used to securely synchronize your game statistics, unlock in-game achievements, and update your user-facing Experience Points (XP) profile on your respective storefront account.

3. How Data is Shared

We do not share your data. No gameplay analytics, progression metrics, or platform tokens are shared with, sold to, or processed by third-party advertising companies, analytical firms, or external private servers.

All transaction data and profile handshakes are processed natively and exclusively through the secure, first-party network infrastructure provided by Valve Corporation (for Steam) and Epic Games, Inc. (for the Epic Games Store).

4. How Data is Retained

We do not retain or store your data on private servers. Because we do not operate external game servers or custom account databases, we do not hold your information.

All achievement progression and player profile statistics are retained globally and permanently by Valve Corporation and Epic Games, Inc. within their secure cloud networks, subject to their respective platform user privacy agreements. Local configuration data is retained only on your personal machine within your local game save files.
